Supports for accessing the community are based on the participants needs and interests and can include going to the shops or the movies, fishing, biking, sports, and attending social clubs. If a participant has a thirst for adventure, head to our adventure therapy service HYPAR WILD, where we provide outdoor adventure activities for NDIS participants.
By accessing our service, participants can experience movement towards independence and wellbeing as we work together to develop essential life and relationship building skills and engagement within the community.
HYPAR acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders as Australia’s First Nation, and the traditional owners and ongoing custodians of the land and waters upon which we are situated. We pay our respects to Elders both past, present and emerging and acknowledge the valuable role they play in shaping our future generations. We ensure people from a variety of cultural and linguistically diverse backgrounds are supported to work and participate in our services in a safe, inclusive and appropriate manner in which to maintain their cultural identity, customs and beliefs.
HYPAR respects people from all walks of life. We ensure to prevent harassment or discrimination of any kind and welcomes all people irrespective of their gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, race, faith and spirituality, relationship status and lifestyle choices.
