Our Supported Independent Living (SIL) service provides supports to help participants live as independently as possible.
We offer male-to-male support and work closely with participants to identify and reach their in-home and out-of-home goals while helping build daily living skills and capacity.
We support participants with daily living tasks, including preparing meals, cleaning, basic personal care, appointments, accessing the community and any other daily tasks required.
By accessing our service, participants can experience increased independence and capacity, improved health, confidence, wellbeing, daily living and social connection, and enjoy more freedom and stability within their home life.
HYPAR acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders as Australia’s First Nation, and the traditional owners and ongoing custodians of the land and waters upon which we are situated. We pay our respects to Elders both past, present and emerging and acknowledge the valuable role they play in shaping our future generations. We ensure people from a variety of cultural and linguistically diverse backgrounds are supported to work and participate in our services in a safe, inclusive and appropriate manner in which to maintain their cultural identity, customs and beliefs.
HYPAR respects people from all walks of life. We ensure to prevent harassment or discrimination of any kind and welcomes all people irrespective of their gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, race, faith and spirituality, relationship status and lifestyle choices.
